Rick Bolton
Ariel Galinsky
Ariel brings over 25 years of experience in business development, strategic planning, and finance as an entrepreneur, as a consultant and as an executive with high-tech companies.
Prior to LibraryLab, as the North America General Manager at Applicaster, Mr. Galinsky was involved with cross-screen story telling (mobile, web, TV) and the future of TV. Prior to that, Mr. Galinsky led LiveU’s business development and entry into the North and South American media markets positioning the company as the industry standard and global leader. Before that, Mr. Galinsky co-founded TestU (acquired by STI), an online education company in which he served as EVP for Corporate Development. Prior to TestU, Mr. Galinsky was a strategy consultant with PWC Telecommunications Strategy Group in which he was involved in extensive studies of telecommunications companies. Earlier in his career, Mr. Galinsky was the Market Development Director at Geotek Communications, a wireless communications company in which he was one of the first employees on board. Mr. Galinsky was also a Corporate Finance Analyst at Lehman Brothers in New York where he was involved in numerous multimillion-dollar transactions involving public debt and equity.
Mr. Galinsky holds a B.A. with honors from the Wharton School of Business and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School. Mr. Galinsky was also a Lieutenant in the Israeli Military performing the duties of high ranked officers.
Rick brings more than 30 years of business experience in marketing, information technology and entrepreneurship to LibraryLab. Rick is also the Founder of Library Mini Golf, which has helped raise more than $4 million for public libraries, schools and museums by transforming libraries into miniature golf courses as a fundraising event. Before co-founding LibraryLab, he served as President & CEO of TestU (sold to STI), the first large internet company in the standardized test prep business and later as Executive Vice President, Academic Relations, PrepMe. In the 1990’s, Rick was an executive with Accenture, the CIO of the U.S. liquor division of Diageo, the Director of Market Research at the E. & J. Gallo Winery, and Manager of Forecasting at Ocean Spray Cranberries.
Rick completed his doctorate in Educational Leadership at Southern Connecticut State University in the spring of 2017, holds an MBA from Babson College and a B.A. in Economics from Michigan State.
